You may be able to get help with your housing costs if you are entitled to Universal Credit. Housing costs are usually paid to their landlord. Landlords will need to provide proof of their housing costs. Universal Credit doesn't pay housing costs for people in supported or temporary accommodation.

Tenants’ rights and responsibilities, as well as the responsibilities of the housing association, are set out in their tenancy agreement. Responsibilities include: paying rent; allowing access for safety checks and repairs; not causing a nuisance to neighbours; and keeping homes in clean and good condition.
